On Monday, Michal, Neil, and Mark went to the Royal Armouries in Leeds. It's a musem of Arms and Armour. The visit was great, there were a lot of interesting exhibits - weapons, armours, scenes, paintings, and many more - but unfortunately it was difficult to take pictures, because the light conditions were bad. There was not much light, it was not allowed to use flash, and there were a lot of glass display cases that mirrored everything. I took a lot of pictures, but some were unfortunately unusable.
This is the first weapon that we saw. Mark liked it the most, he even tried it.
This is the Hall of Steel that displays a lot of steel weapons. The hall is about five floors high and the walls are covered by various weapons.
There were nice wooden models of castles and deviced that are used to destroy them.
You can see some of the armour pieces and weapons here.
Some of the exhibits consisted of several items that made up a scene. Like these ones.
And there were even some tents (with more exhibits in them) and, well, a tree between them!
Every armoury of course needs Bunnies, and this one was no exception. Lukraak would be very happy!
